Our techs roll with common repair parts on the truck — cartridges, ceramic discs, O-rings, seats and springs, aerators, escutcheon plates, and full replacement faucets in common finishes. Over 80% of the faucet service calls we take wrap the same visit. For the rare case where we need a specialty part (vintage, high-end, or discontinued), we source it overnight and schedule a 2nd visit at no additional trip fee.

What we repair

1. Cartridge faucets — Moen, Delta, Price Pfister, Kohler — cartridge replacement is the #1 repair we do
2. Compression (stem) faucets — older two-handle bathrooms; reseat, repack, new washers
3. Ceramic disc faucets — Glacier Bay, American Standard, higher-end brands — disc kit replacement
4. Ball faucets — older kitchen faucets with a single handle over a ball joint
5. Widespread, centerset, single-hole — any configuration, any finish
6. Shower and tub valves — single-handle, two-handle, three-handle, thermostatic, pressure-balance
7. Outdoor hose bibs and frost-free spigots — freeze-damaged or dripping
8. Pot fillers, bar faucets, prep sinks — kitchen specialty fixtures

What we install

Full faucet replacements run $185-$485 labor depending on complexity, plus the faucet itself (bring your own from Home Depot, Lowe's, Ferguson, or we can spec and supply). We install Moen, Delta, Kohler, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Pfister, American Standard, Brizo — basically anything the factory designed right. For shower valve swaps, add $85-$250 depending on whether we can work from the back access or have to open the tile.

Utah-specific faucet issues

Hard water. That's the summary. Utah Wasatch Front water averages 15-25 grains per gallon of hardness — calcium that builds up on aerators, cartridges, and ceramic discs and kills faucets 2-3x faster than in soft-water markets. If you're replacing the kitchen cartridge for the second time in five years, that's the water, not the faucet. We pair faucet service with water softener quotes a lot — the softener usually pays for itself in saved plumbing and appliance replacements over 5-7 years.

Cold-weather freezes on outdoor spigots. A frost-free hose bib with a hose still attached in November is one of the most common burst-pipe calls we take in January. If your outdoor spigot is dripping in spring or you heard a pop in the basement over winter, call us — a pipe behind the wall probably cracked and it's about to flood as soon as someone opens the valve.
